COINCO'S NEW MAGPRO™ SERIES DOLLAR BILL ACCEPTOR
INCREASES ACCEPTANCE RATES AND REDUCES JAMS
ST. LOUIS-Coinco's new MagPro™ Series dollar bill acceptors increase valid bill acceptance rates while reducing jams due to bill slippage. A new spherical I-frame design replaces rollers with belts achieving a first time acceptance rate of 98+ percent.
In addition, new software reduces bill jams on reject because the MagPro is programmed to automatically go through 15 separate steps to free a jammed bill that can disable a machine and dramatically reduce operator profits. The new software also significantly reduces the acceptor's time delay when validating high-denomination bills. Other new convenience features include a redesigned faceplate to improve impact resistance, and a new illuminated inlet to help customers insert bills more easily, especially in dimly lit areas.
Coinco's MagPro handles the new five, ten and twenty dollar bills as well as old currency. It is also programmable for future currency changes. The MagPro's high acceptance of valid bills, including wet, torn and damaged bills, increases vendor profit, and with the MagPro you can select dollar bill denominations of one, two, five, ten and twenty dollars. It also handles the new MAG coupons.
Resistance to cheating and vandalism are other major features of the new unit. For example, unlike other bill acceptors the MagPro subjects each bill to two types of counterfeiting tests-optical and magnetic. It also protects from losses and damage due to bill "pull-back" and salting.
